Dakota Digital F/O pressure gauge

TNT, Yeah have a Dakota Digital F/O guage and it works great! Had it installed since October with zero problems. I have a rectangular in the useless cubby hole. Recommend the teal lights vice blue. If you need some install recommendations let me know.

Where to Buy?

Dave,

Where can you purchase the Dakota Digital F/P gauge? Have any web listings?

Any info would be appreaciated as I am looking to install a F/P gauge but can not find any that go over 30 psi.

Thanks,

crabman

Dakota Digital FP gauge

Crabman, You can buy directly from Dakota digital on there website, no middle man vendors... The dakota digital have low pressure settings too, flash multiple times to indicate low pressure and you can set the low setting your self.

When I get settled I will send photos if needed. Also dont mount sender to fender wall, the vibration that goes thru the rubber flex hose will cause quick failure. I mounted mine to the dipstick tube mounting bracket with some foam, strip of rubber and plastic cable tie with eyelet for mounting. Someone else on TDR has Dakota and led me to them... cant remember name though.

I must be getting like Bob Wagner:--)

Drop me a email if you have more questions.

Dave (aka BigDodge)

No more oysters for Bob! :D Oo.

Thanks!!

:p Thanks for the replies!!

Ordered the gauge online, should be here next week. :p

Installation of all three gauges is next weeks project. But, the best laid plans of mice and men, etc.

I got mine direct from the web site. I echo DShuart comments. I have the rectangular FP in the cubby hole. Damn near looks stock! and works great. I like the low pressure warning, I have mine set at 4psi. I too think that the teal lighting looks better than the blue. I have had mine in going on a year and have had no problems at all. I used a tapped banjo at the VP to a 1/8npt nipple to a 45deg elbow to a 24inch grease gun hose to the sender. I mounted the sender to the hard brake line coming out of the brake fluid res on the driver side. I just zip tied it between two of the hardlines and have had no problems. Must isolate the pulses enough but let the sender move with the motor enough too. Go figure. I would highly recommend them as a source for digitial gauages.

I am no way affiliated with Dakota Digital, just satisfied customer.

Hope this helps
