Champane Flight,
First off, thank you for your service to our country.
Secondly, I believe that when we are on the cusp of war, the last thing that people should do is instigate doubt in the minds of our troops that what they are about to engage in is not justifiable. They are over there for US. That is, for the freedom and safety of all Americans. We should stand behind our leaders, and our military. I listen to a lot of radio programs, and watch a lot of news programs regarding the Iraq issue. I have heard one man go so far as to say that the troops in the middle east will be considered murders in his mind if we do go to war. Words don't exist to describe the anger that this ignited in me when I heard that. I realize that there are tow sides to the coin also. So before anyone thinks that I only look at this from one side, I'm afraid that they're mistaken.
Basically, the purpose of this thread was to share a diesel related experience to the TDR group. An experiecne that I'm proud of. I know there may be some who disagree with the way I choose to display my political feelings. If anyone has a problem with sooting anti-war, non patriots, let me know. If it is childish behavior, so be it. I'd certainly do it again if I have the chance.
