Thanks, TDR Staff

they just stole my truck, trailer, and both bikes

Happy Birthday John

Champane Flight,

First off, thank you for your service to our country.

Secondly, I believe that when we are on the cusp of war, the last thing that people should do is instigate doubt in the minds of our troops that what they are about to engage in is not justifiable. They are over there for US. That is, for the freedom and safety of all Americans. We should stand behind our leaders, and our military. I listen to a lot of radio programs, and watch a lot of news programs regarding the Iraq issue. I have heard one man go so far as to say that the troops in the middle east will be considered murders in his mind if we do go to war. Words don't exist to describe the anger that this ignited in me when I heard that. I realize that there are tow sides to the coin also. So before anyone thinks that I only look at this from one side, I'm afraid that they're mistaken.

Basically, the purpose of this thread was to share a diesel related experience to the TDR group. An experiecne that I'm proud of. I know there may be some who disagree with the way I choose to display my political feelings. If anyone has a problem with sooting anti-war, non patriots, let me know. If it is childish behavior, so be it. I'd certainly do it again if I have the chance.

B. S. , I am proud of you. I think that when the next anti-American rally, or tree hugging rally is heald, as many as possible(diesel owners) should drive by and do the same thing.

Bsoldie, I guess we got them in two cities then. I got a group of about 20 last week by the capital in Denver. I think the reason I was so mad is that they had a sign that said "silent vigil for peace", and they were yelling at the car in front of me that had done nothing to them. So without thinking I did the first to fifth shift and hammered it. I put stacks on this weekend so now our only hope is that they protest from bridges.

:D Yes, indeed. I too hope that they choose to protest on bridges now. That would be worth the price of admission! The first to fifth show must have been hilarious:D ! Thank you for being real patriot!

BSoldie...

Same thing here about three weeks ago. I tried to leave as much soot in their faces as I could. Only problem was I was in town and doing 30 at the time. Here's my opinion. I have every right to believe in what I want and so does everyone else. That's fine. But there's no need to protest and force your opinions onto others. That's just they way I look at it, and I'm sure others have their own thoughts. Once again, that's fine.

Bsoldie. Let me know before you do it!!! I want to be there.

Some of those knucklheads are more violent than what they are protesting. They're just bored, and want to do the popular thing--kind of like high school.

Here's a quote: Going to war without the French is like going deer hunting without your accordian. Donald Rumsfeld

By the way: I'm part french, and I work in the "French Quarter" of rhode island.

Watch Out: next I'll post the war history of france. I got it in an email.

Just my 2 pennies

crime against the nation

Id a smoked them seditionists too. When war is declared it is a treasonous act to go against the country. Just because the shooting hasnt started yet doesnt mean we can speak badly about the good old US of A.

With several hundred thousand troops trudging about in the sand. Id say its war time. During war time we must be united.

I'm Proud

Just a word from a man who is currently serving this fine country and has already dedicated eighteen years doing so, I followed Bush Sr in Desert Storm and I will follow Bush Jr in this ordeal! I agree everyone has the "right" to their opinion even if it's not what I feel, but nothing makes me madder than hell then to have someone call me a "murderer" or "coward" if I follow my Commander and Chief, the very man elected "by the people" to represent this country and I have never doubted what I'm doing or why I was over there doing what is asked of me. I and other like myself didn't volunteer to live this life because it would make us popular or respected and god knows it won't make us rich, we do this because we believe in this country and what it stands for!!

I personally love the picture of a bunch of #@$%$$# standing on a street corner being "covered" in thich black diesel soot!! Thanks for the image I shall take that with me when I'm asked to defend this great nation ... . again.

Sorry for the long post... don't mean to vent, but hey it just came out.

Nice job on the smoke, kinda like the old days of using DDT smokers on trucks to get rid of mosquitos.

As to Bush having the information, I know he sure has more information than I do (even with broadband) and last time I looked he was the elected leader of this country.

EnLjones,

Thanks for your service to our country. I appreciate it.

I'll think of you next time I have the chance to smoke more of em out!

By the way glad to see the absence of( close to it at anyways) liberal, peace spewing traitors on this site so far. :)

If an issue is left handed, there is no such thing as peaceful protesters. That night, they will be burning resorts, spiking trees, and poisoning hunting dogs.

I am a firm believer in smoking wisely.

Wise enough!

Let 'em have it, damn traitors. :D

Trust me they are all on the Toyota Tundra site. I had to sell a 1/2 ton Tundra because of the type of people that were driving it. Most seem to be from Comifornia and are anti gun, military, and a bunch of tree huggers. I'm sure they all aren't that way but it seemed like a majority. CTD owners are true Patriots :D

Ed Jones,

I agree, (BTW 14 years so far here) it just amazes me the people that protest THE MILITARY for wars... . Makes me just want to point out to them, "HELLO!!! Your blaming the pencil for misspellings, handguns for murder, and the hammer for hitting the nail!!! It doesn't make sense! If you're going to exercise your right to protest, fine, but put the blame on the wielder of the object!"

I can see where the shoe could be on the other foot for the peaceniks real quick.

1. They protest the military

2. We (the military) are convinced their right and lay down our arms

3. A foreign power hits us hard causing casualties even within the peaceniks camp

4. They start screaming, "pick up the arms! Go to war! Protect us undefendable people! You aren't doing your job!" and various other accusations of hindsight. Especially if the foreign power starts "infringing" on rights, pocketbook, or hurting people's feelings. Just don't cut off their ritalin supplies, that would be hell on earth!!!!!!!!

5. The military responds with, "we have seen the light! War is baaaaaad, we won't fight for you anymore, you said so yourself before..... "

6. Maybe, and then only maybe, do the protestors learn a lesson as to what they were protesting.

Thanks for the vent!

Brian

It is amazing to me how soon people forget. Having served for over 4 years I can honestly say I've seen more than I wanted to. I hope that those young service members going over seas now are given the power to do what needs to be done. I want to first say that nothing good ever becomes of war. Having said that we have a obligation to anyone, anywhere at anytime to uphold what we see as basic human rights. For these rights we shall see no boundaries or boarders. Saddam has killed hundreds of thousands of his own country men. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of others in Iran. More than likely has killed anyone who has ever apposed him. He needs to be removed by whatever means necessary. I have no remorse or tolerance for him. Lift the ban on state sponsored assassination, take out him as well as all members of the republican guard. In-steal a democratic government, and let the people of Iraq have some PEACE. Don't even talk about PEACE unless you have seen the FEAR on the faces of the people in Iraq. They deserve FREEDOM as do all who may ask for it.

CMonroe,

I thank you too as a veteran.

You made mention of the people of Iraq. As much as I pitty those people, I think we should be over there only for America, and not on their behalf in anyway. As bad as that may sound, I would hate to see one American Troop so much as to get a paper cut for a citizen of Iraq. Many of the anti-war crowd has stated that war will only hurt these people, as ineviteably many may perish. However, the majority of them who will survive the attack will forever owe the United States ( and Britain, I suppose) with their lives. That is just a side benefit of going to war with Iraq. Furthermore, this helps to demonstrate that if the war protestors would take the time to remove their heads from their rear-ends, they would realize that they are also protesting a movement which will ultimately help those who they are inadvertantly hurting by protesting an invasion on Iraq.

I'll step down from my soap box now, thanks for listening.

im glad i came across this thread, i was driving though the town i live in today and came across the same situation right in the middle of down town (petaluma, ca, about 40 miles north of s. f. , were the rednecks meet the yuppies) by the time i got though the traffic i was ****** and then to see that it was all for these anti-war hippies(i have two good friends in the marines) holding up signs about war being murder and troops just like kill really got to me, it was very satisfing to pull up next to them and make night come earlie for a minute or two, as for the whole making diesels look bad speach a got a bunch of honks and thumbs up from people who feel the same way i do but have jobs and cant spend a day standing on a corner and messing up traffic. :D :D :D i say let the clouds roll!!!!

just imagine

As i sit here reading all these post, I can feel the pride that we all share, and I have to ask myself this one little question... regardless or what many americans may think about us going into Iraq, if it wasn't for "America" then who would be there to step up and do what no one else wants to?
