2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Dana 60, Help?

I have a 2002 2500 four wheel drive with no CAD connect. I was in 4 high off rd and something snapped. The u joints are still intact. Stills drives down rd. I put truck in 4 wheel, lifted front axle ,and spin tire freely. I should say lifted only one front tire. Something broke inside pumkin,what? Thanks.

When you lifted the front tire, did the front driveshaft turn? If not, could've broke an axle, or pinion... .

Yup, you broke it! Stub shaft, u-joint, half shaft, side gear, spider gear, spider axle, pinion... just to name a few guesses. You just found the weakest link in the driveline. Rich

The front drive shaft still turns. I was hoping I could pull one common part out and fix it. Guess not. I am still under warr. but didn't want to go that route if possible. Thanks Chris
