desertrat, thanks for getting back to me on the parts. I've found some better prices on parts, and may be able to get a list together next week to post. Its still up in the air whether I'll do this or not, the price is still more than I should take on considering there are a bunch of other little things on the truck that need to be taken care of. :(

So i guess i've been lucky with my disk brakes. After reading all about the low spongy brakes i was tempted not to do the rear disk conversion, but i did and i'm so glad i did. My truck finally stopped, untill last weekend, well it did stop, all the time. I went to take the wheel off and i nearly burnt my hand! One of the caliper pins was missing. Unaware of where to get a new pin, I replaced it with a 3/8 bolt, but this did not fix the problem. after a longer trip i could touch my wheel but it was still hot. Today i took the wheel apart and relized that the calipers are clamped down on the rotor.
two questions,
where do I get one of those pins (local parts store laughed at me, he couldn't find one)?
What would cause the calipers to clamp down on the rotor?

HELP ME!!!! :(
