Dash lights

Is there a way to change the color of the dash lights on the 3rd Gen trucks? I would like to have red or blue.

i would love to know how to do this. i want to change my dash and my gauges to blue.

i found a site that will do this. i ordered a new gauge face from them. havnt got it yet but from the looks of things on the site these guys are good.

I believe they do have 3rd gen ones too. Also if you just want to change the lighting you could allways just get the OEM style dash bulbs in a colored version. They do make led style ones however I have seen some that do not transmit the light evenly and have "Hot Spots" of light as LED's put out a focused light.

blue is fairly easy, red would be tough.

the problem is a clear bulb shines thru a greenish filter. putting a blue cover on the bulb would give ya a kindof teal color.

red and green are on oposite sides of the color wheel... . ie: not compatable...

Chris, Do you still have info on LED dash light kits for a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500? I have my dash apart and would like to put all new Led bulbs in.
