How do I remove the dash top piece? I want to install a set of tweeters in the stock location and don't want to break the dash to get them in.

Thanks.

The top dash cover just snaps in place.
(Quote from manual) Using a trim stick or equivalent, pry up on the rear of the top cover and release the attachment clips. Pull the top cover backwards to release the remaining clips and remove the cover.
The speakers are easy to remove and change.

color me confused. there isnt any way to pry up on the rear of the cover.

I was also wondering this because I wanted to swap out the speakers in the dash

thanks in advance

great, thats exactly what I was looking for, thanks!

I actually removed mine dash speakers after a while because they seemed too loud compared to the rest of the speakers and were just oppressive. My head unit isn't a 6 channel, so the dash speakers shared with the 6x9s in the doors. So unless you have a way to manage their loudness (amp, etc... I'm not an audio wiz by any means), you may be disappointed too. One of my dash speakers actually blew due to, what I believe, not being able to control the juice individually to that set of speakers. Just something to think about.
