Has anybody tried the Daystar 2" lift kit for the 2WD that J. C. Whitney sells? If so how hard was it to install? And is it good quality? Thanks for any info.

I'm not familiar with the Daystar Kit, but if it is a body lift kit, don't do it-- It screws up the air intake for the turbo. I do not know of much if any lift kits available for the 2wd ram diesels, and I looked pretty hard. I finally found a shop that was willing to work with me. It is called Agressive Suspensions in Fullerton, Ca. They are the manufacturer for Fab Tec Suspension. They were able to give me roughly 2" just by changing the front springs and blocking the rear. They did the install although I'm sure it wasn't tough (also put new Rancho RS9000's) ran about $800 and change for everything including labor. I'm sure they would ship the parts to you and walk you through the install. If you want the name of the guy to talk with and phone number, email me. I wanted about 3-4" of lift so I could get taller tires on, but I ended up settling for 265x75- it gives it a nice look.
