What are your opinions on the DDI injectors? I have a '01 on order with BOMBing planned to commence 10,000 miles after delivery. My plans include Comp PM-3 adjustable, 4" Exhaust, Sachs clutch, and possibly DDI injectors. Would this be a good choice? I also heard that they have the same part number in the main body of the injector, is this true?

Thanks,
Jonathon

To get the same part number bodies,I think you have to request the "Stealth DD I" injectors. I believe DD charges an extra $100 bucks for the "stealth" option.

You know,if it were me,I'd go with a bigger injector and a smaller box (stage III and regular PM3) just to lessen the strain on the injector pump. You'll achieve the same result just less stress on the pump.

I was told just two days ago that all DD1's are stealth, and they didn't charge extra. TDR member # was good for 20 percent off too. See the chips vs. injectors for high ouputs for pump reliability with smaller injectors and a bigger box.

I spent Tuesday afternoon at DD. I had the same questions you did. My questions are now answered. Go with DD3's and a boost module.

I've got a buddy with an 01 and a PM3 Competition Adjustable box. You won't need anything else but that little box. Try it first without injectors. Save yourself some bucks.

The reason I wanted the injectors to go along with the PM-3 box was to lessen the strain on the pump. Is this a good idea?

Thanks for the input guys,
Jonathon
