Just a note & I'm sure some of you already know this, but DD's instructions are incorrect. The TT boxes are set on #2 from the factory, not #3 as stated in their instruction manual. For those of you who took that info for granted, you have some free power , just a jumper away! Be sure to double check as this may not be a consistant finding.

What is the proper position of the #2 setting? Do you have a photo or diagram of the proper list of settings? Is the DD TTPM instruction sheet correct?

cullyguy, I have had two different DD TTPMs sent to me directly from DD and BOTH were set to position #3 as per their installation instructions.

2000ney, setting #1 is timing only, setting #2 is fuel in at 20 psi boost, setting #3 is fuel in at 3 psi boost.

There will be new jumper settings on the newer DD TTPMs that should be just coming out by now (I received the first one directly from Erin of Edge Products). The reason for the change is a slight delay in the fueling introduction at just off idle (about 63 rpm if memory serves)... required to eliminate the lopy idle condition present in auto. equipped Rams using a VERY efficient TC and/or the addition of DD3s. There will be two jumpers provided for the new settings. Mine was delivered with the jumpers placed at #1 and #3 which equals setting #2 on the older TTPMs. Edge set it this way as they knew I wanted my fuel in at 20 psi boost.

John, This is why I ended my message with
" Be sure to double check as these findings may not be consistant". I have been surfing around & have found mention from others regarding the the manual saying it comes on setting #3 when it has been shipped on position #2, as was this one. However, you did raise a question. I was under the assumption from others that fueling on pos# 2 was @ 10psi boost.

I understand what the positions are. I need to know where they are, i. e. post 1 and 3 equals position #2, post 2 and 3 equal position #3. In other words, is the photo and instruction sheet from DD correct?

Yes, As far as I can tell the instructions are correct. With the exception that they said that the default setting (the way it comes from the factory) was setting #3. Mine came set on #2. I have moved the jumpers around according to their instructions & the truck seems to respon accordingly. Hope this is answers your question.

The default setting on the DD TTPM is setting #3 as I stated before. I also received TWO DIFFERENT units directly from DD set this way however, as this is said to be different on at least one unit this should be checked prior to installation.

The latest DD TTPM I received (TTPM #3) was setup and shipped directly from Edge Products... I thought I made that clear too. New TTPMs will have the LATEST programming which eliminated my lopy idle (for reasons I've already posted). The latest programming from Edge Products NOW USES TWO JUMPERS in the TTPM (I believe the EZ still only uses one jumper though). This is an extremely recent programming upgrade that was made to both the Edge EZ AND the DD TTPM... just a small tweaking. I have ALL the double jumper settings at home however, as stated before, my latest DD TTPM (I received directly from Edge Products) came with the jumpers at #1 and #3 which equals the "old" #2 setting in the TTPM (which equals fueling in by 20 psi boost). As you can imagine (and should reasonably expect given the expediency in which they dealt with this problem), the installation instructions were not upgraded yet to reflect the new double jumper settings (in my case). As I stated before, I received the first DD TTPM with the upgraded program. In fact, I called Keith at DD to give him a heads up regarding the programming enhancement as well as to bring him up to date with the elimination of the lopy idle condition I was experiencing. Both Edge Products and Diesel Dynamics treated my very well while working throughout the entire problem I was experiencing... and I WILL be a repeat customer. Thanks guys! #ad

cullyguy, note the EZ settings below:

#1 = fueling in at 3 psi boost

#2 = fueling in at 10 psi boost

#3 = fueling in at 20 psi boost

_____________________________________________

UPDATED DD TTPM settings (ONLY IF your module came with TWO jumpers):

JUMPER POSITIONS = OLD PROGRAM SETTING

#1 & #2 = #1 (timing only)

#1 & #3 = #2 (fuel in by 20 psi)

#2 & #3 = #3 (fuel in by 3 psi)
