just bought a set of lightly used ddp 50hp nozzles for 400$, was kinda planning on Indust Inject 90's but found a good deal on these, are ddp good nozzles? will the 50's make a noticable increase in mileage, will it raise egt's, and will it smoke anymore than stock nozzles? currently running edge w/ hot unlock. future plans included big stick cam, batmowheel for stock he351, and II cp3 bag o parts. will that support 90's and keep egt's in check in the future?

with my set up i smoke like a freight train. even with twins and no extra fueling. stick with the 50's they will better match you set up.

I've always heard that the DDP 50s are a good choice for that extra "everything". Extra oomph, clean, better (potential) mpg...

Let us know what results you get...

I will trade straight across My DDP 90 tips for your DDP 50 tips. That is if they are the 04. 5 up version. I might even sell you my turbo and MBRP 5" exhaust. I really like the way the truck drives. It is my daily driver and fuel is getting expensive here in the bay area, not to mention I do have to smog this truck. The 90s will black out the sun if you want to. If you build just a bit of boost then romp on it you get tire smoke. Point is the smoke is dependent on how you drive with my set up. You can still put the truck sideways with out eclipsing the sun.

Had 50 HP DDP's and a PDR cam installed a couple of years back. Both were suppose to help MPG's. NOT! No change. Did get a nice boost in power.

Bill, after your cam change, does your oil stay cleaner or does it turn black right away after an oil change like a stock cammed truck?

59 Turbo: My oil was always pretty clean before the cam/injectors. I was also using a Quadzilla unit set @ 60 HP. At around 20K I installed an Amsoil by-pass filter which helps keep the oil clean. Other than more umph, I noticed no other changes.

I have a set of 50 horse injectors. They will over run the turbo real easy. I need to get a bigger one. I think on a "stock" truck 50's are the way to go.

I've got the Stage one 50 hp injectors in my stock 05. Less smoke than when I had the cracked injector issue, but slightly more than stock. I noticed a little bit more of the kick in the seat of your pants with them. My Mpg is only slightly better maybe half a Mpg better. But you have to really behave in order to see it. I don't have any issues with over speeding the turbo and my exaust temps are only about 150 degrees hotter but well with in the safe zone. Ok, so it's not fully stock I'm running the Banks Cat back dual kit and the Banks intake elbo. No programers.
