Okay all,
Here we go. First of all, for a few months it has been our poilcy not to post too much about our injectors on the internet. We do not have an excess of time to be on the forums, we already work 10+ hours pre day, and when we get home it is family or fun time. We do monitor them if possible to see what is happening, but if a customer has a direct question, we rely on them to see our advertising, and call us directly. We do feel that in this situation, we owe it to our exsisting and future customers to address this matter.
We have been contacted by one cutomer that has had a motor failure. When we called this person back to discuss the details of the problem our owner Lenny took notes. Below is a list of the things that this customer stated, or admitted to him. We have no reason to believe that what this customer stated was a lie, and I will list exactly how it was stated to us.
The truck in question:
#1 Truck pulls on the weekends, and does well, usually battles with a Duramax for 1st or 2nd place.
#2 Has a Pyrometer that goes up to 1500 degrees, but the owner has no idea what it gets up to since it hits 1500 degrees and stops.
#3 Had a #6 piston that was melted. (The one that always goes) Immediatly after the pull, a rough idle was present, and the motor decided to quit the next day.
#4 Has a motor with 196,000 Miles, and is completly stock internally including pistons
#5 Has never had a drive pressure check
#6 Has a Phat Shaft 66 wastegated to 55 lbs (a semi Small charger for an injector that is capable of 900+ horsepower on #2 only)
#7 Has a 911 P Pump with 4k gsk and laser cut DV's. (The capability to deliver a lot of fuel)
When we asked this customer to tell us what he wanted, he replied with a question to us, asking what we wanted to do. Our request was to see the injector in question, pics of the piston on all sides, and the the connecting rod. At this point we have seen nothing, so no calls have been made to this customer as of yet to tell him how we were going to proceed.
We at DDP, and many of our happy customer believe that the Stage 4 12 valve injector is the the absolute best high performance injector available. We also believe that competitors of DDP may be interested in slandering this product. Recently we have been contacted by DDP stage 4 customers saying that another person has contacted them asking them to send their injectors to a competitor of ours to have them "Checked out"
Even our Stage 3 injector is enough fuel for most people. We have made over 800 hp with nitrous, and over 600 with #2 only with a stage 3. As with any of addition fuel to your diesel truck, you should intall and USE your pyrometer.
The only issues that one could have with our 12valve injetors is the amount of fuel they can deliver. That coupled with the fact that I have no control over the timing that is set can create a situation like this.
Again we feel that this post was necessary to help insure the confidence that our happy customers already have. We have no intention of slandering the persons involved, or any intention of continuing a long drawn out battle within internet forums about this matter. Many of you may feel this is a cop out. We feel that after our side of the story is told, we have no futher business here going back and forth with a he said, she said.
Thank you very much to all of our current and future customers out there. We really do appreciate the support you give us.
Sincerly
Dynomite Diesel
