Canadian manufacturer Bigfoot RV shuts its doors

ARMSTRONG, British Columbia -- RV Industry News has learned that Bigfoot RV has ceased operations.

The Canadian maker of motorhomes, travel trailers and truck campers shut its doors Tuesday afternoon, a receptionist confirmed today.

No details have been provided regarding how the closure will impact RV dealers and consumers regarding warranty issues and the availability of parts and accessories. A message left for the general manager has not yet been returned.

RV Industry News will post an update as soon as more information is available.

I drove by their factory last week and I was thinking they must be having a tough time. There are a few RV manufacturers in the valley here and I imagine it's going to get worse yet.
