Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Dealer flash

When you take your truck in for a software update at the dealer, do they just bring it up to the latest revision level or what??? I took mine in today and they said they not only did the one I wanted but another one also. The truck seems to run fine other than I can detect a slight increase in idle. We'll see how it goes.

yes you are correct, when the ECM is re-flashed it will re-flash the software to latest release, that will include all fixes available.
