Cyborg... . your post wins the Gold Cup for this thread. ;)

(Can we kill it now!)

I'd say a good plan B would be to leave it on the corner one night with the keys in it. Problem is you might find it back in your driveway a few days later because the guys at the chop-shop started tearing it down and discovered the parts were all TOAST! ;)

i knew about all of those mods KOOP did that is why i asked the ques in the 1st place. i was giving him a chance to confess! Dont trade it in pay out of you own pocket to have it fixed. 50+ lbs and you want warranty work? this is not unethical its illegal. now if it turns out it is just a computer problem or a sensor of some sort consider yourself lucky then DC should warranty it. if its a head gasket/ valve train etc pay for it yourself. remember when you reach the pearly gates st. peter might say "yea remember that trick you pulled on that dodge dealer... . yea. . you remember... . GOOD BYE! ;)

warrantee... ... ... . we don't need no stinkin warrantee.

so you want to play... and you don't want to pay... ..... wouldn't that be sweet!

A felony? C'mon man, it IS a violation of Federal law, but it's not a felony.

You sound like one of those people that tells others not to remove the tag from their mattress... .....

As usual your good for a one liner with no meat behind em

Thanks Todd T. I'll bet that's not all there is too.

I find no fault with D/C at all. Business is business. D/C is in business to make money. They're not in business to pay for repairs that are needed because someone ABUSED their truck. Those of you that find fault with D/C amaze me.

If I bought a Black and Decker drill and decided it needed more power, took it apart and added a flux capacitor, thicker wires, and a higher voltage doohickey, and it failed, should I take it back to the store for a refund? I don't think so either.

What's the difference except for the amount of money involved?

CR gotta disagree with one part of that. I would take the black and decker product back if I were you. You had to upgrade it since it was such a worthless pile of chinese junk. And it still failed. It was doomed before it was made :-( haha

that is BS

there are dealers around here that install boxes and keep the full warranty

there is no reason your ENTIRE warranty should be voided for tapping the speed sensor wire and putting on a free flowing exhaust

that is totally up to the discretion of the dealer and they screwed you ...

You are correct in that some dealers do install Boxes, lift etc; however you need to understand that the dealer takes that upon themsekves Chrysler is in no way involved with that and in many cases if you are cross country and something goes wrong even if the dealer installs it I can tell you that the servicing dealer can at their choice void your waranty. I work for a dealer and believe me for those on here that say a dealer can or cannot do something you are very very wrong the dealer can do much more than you want them to. And just so you know I do agree with you the dealer he took his to did screw him lets hope his factory rep is a cool guy...

You know after reading all of these posts, all I can say is it is funny why so many guys on here get so upset at DC for denying claims; I AM a employee of Dodge at the deakership level; but I also interact with people like regional reps and regional techs and you know something guys they are all in all pretty good honest cool guys just like most of us on here; in fact some of them are even into this stuff themselves and are mebers of TDR, and let me be the first to tell you that if you don't think that these people read these forums and keep up to date what we do here you are seriously on some realy good drugs. The reason that DC reject most of the things that you get so worked up over are because of the guys doing just the above running the crap out of these things breaking everything and then wanting DC to pay for it. Believe me I am no saying that DC does dumb things and there are plenty of times that a good honest customer gets screwed but thank the dishonest abusers of the system for it. I see both sides of the story on a daily basis and sometimes I favor the customers opionion but honestly sometimes I can honestly see where the dealer or DC has to draw a line in the sand and say enoughs enough. Sorry for the long post but lets get real about some of these things and complain about the things that are honestly problems that DC should address like the dam 70mph vibrations...

Ok that was funny comparing or trucks puter to a home computer. Before you cause another riot, not that Koop isn't getting enough! A home puter has a hard drive to store information and Ram memory to run the computer. Or trucks do not have a hard drive and runs off of Ram memory.
Givem' a few more years to add the hard drive.

These trucks and every other car on the market already have too many computer controls, pcms, sensors, wiring, gizmos, etc. Throttle is now computer controlled. Next is coming brakes via wire. This new stuff is too much for me to buy a new throw away car. Within a few years it will only get worse than it already is. Hopefully in the next few years I will get more people that agree with me on this topic.

Ahh it's so painfully obvious how jealous you are and how badly you want a 3rd gen. :-laf If they are so junked up with computers etc and you wouldn't own one, then why is it that you are always posting in the 3rd gen section?

Everytime, I hear the same nonsense out of you. If I am sooo jealous then why do I not have a 3rd gen in my driveway yet? I can afford one without a problem, however, I don't want one. The 03s are nice looking trucks I don't care for the new style injection system.

Reason I run around the 3rd gen boards is to read all the new news and there is always more going on here with dealer conflicts and newbie problems then the 2nd gen board.

Whats your point LM? Nobody cares anyways  :-laf
