Death on Ozzfest

For any fans of Drowning Pool, today is a sad day. Dave Williams was found dead this afternoon on his bus. He was 30 years old.

He was an amazing guy. Nice to everyone and never did i see him act like he was better then anyone else. Just a real guy who finally made it and was doing something he loved for a living. Its the greatest thing anyone can do.

I know its not TDR related, but i know some of the members here are Drowning Pool Fans. And anytime someone i know passes away, it makes me realise how short life really is. One day your a star and playing to 50,000 people and the next your dead. RIP Dave. www.drowningpool.com

Dave was a drinker. I personally never saw him touch drugs and i never heard that he did drugs, i also never asked. That all i can say.

the WWF (or one of the federeations) have taken on a theme song "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor". if you recognize that song, especially from watching wrestling, well, then you were listening to Drowning Pool. it's sad as they were bringing up great new music.

Drowning pool is made up from 4 guys from Dallas Texas. They are very proud of where they are from and you will see the Texas flag all over there gear. They were not Pop music so unless you listened to radio stations that played hard rock and metal, you have probably never heard of them.

Listen to country only. Hard Rock and Pop Can't stand. Maybe from Ft Worth, but still never heard of them.

EMD. Went to their site and download one of their songs. Something about " I caught a bird ... " over and over again. Bunch of yelling and screaming. Sorry but not my kind of music.
