With the PML pans we promote we generally see 20-30 degree fluid temp drops. Now if you add tooooo much fluid it makes the cooler try to work overtime and the effect can be the exact opposite. After running in the mountains a pan that holds to much fluid will make the cool off time of the fluid much longer and the average fluid temp will be higher too! The PML's hold 1. 75-3. 0 extra quarts, depends on the truck and trans, and don't go overboard on the quantity of increased fluid.
