DEF Additive???

I can't help but think the exhaust (where the DEF injector is mounted) will get significantly hotter than the oil pan. There might be a reason that gasket is so spendy.

It's been on there almost a year, still solid and no leaks! Don't see why you also couldn't use a copper crush washer.
