DEF Brand?

Looking for opinions on what DEF you use in your Gen 4. I only have 1500 miles and it's not an issue yet, but I was planning ahead.

I use Valvoline, but you can use any DEF as long as it is API certified to ISO 22241. I don't think there's much difference save in packaging and price.

I used Peak BlueDEF but plan to refill the 2.5 gallon jugs with truck stop DEF

How much does the DEF cost and how many miles to the gallon of DEF do you get?

Best deal for me is at the major truck stops, bulk fill at under $3.00 a gallon.

Since we got the truck, I have been filling at truck-stop fuel island directly from DEF dispenser

Just make sure you have the dang magnet for the DEF nozzle to open the nozzle flap otherwise it will be spoonful and click, spoonful and click....

Some of the DEF nozzles haves magnet operated flap and some other vehicles have the magnet intalled around the DEF filler neck to prevent the mix-up with diesel tank.
