See issue 127 page 95 for more info on monitors. They can be very hard to complete. I'm glad I got the 67A recall done for the extended warranty, but it would have been much easier had I thought to get the smog test done first before the recall flash wiped out all the monitors.
They are very hard , If I remember I even checked in with you on my monitors . I did several drive cycles that were recommended , even got a flash done by the dealer . Nothing worked except miles ,and miles .
So you are saying after the 67a recall you had some monitors that had to clear to pass emissions ?
Some of the reasons I have yet to get that recall ,one is the issues they seem to be popping up ,and the fact is the warranty worth the problems ,and having to deal with them ,sure if get some issues that are covered on that warranty say a couple years down the road , thats pretty much a given you were going have those problems anyway ,now the warranty would make sense . Problem with some , is you get the warranty ,and don't make it home before they get a CEL ,now you got to deal with that , and on top of that the monitors for emissions.
Seems to me ,there is no good solution here on that recall , appears to be quite the gamble at best . There's you ,and have had no problems ,others that don't make it home . If I do it ,for sure it will be right after I have had my yearly emissions test . Then I got a year to deal with the issues if they happen .
