Looking for a detailed spec sheet of recommended fluids and capacities for a 2006 Mega Cab. Anyone have one to share?

thanks!

Ugh, I just have a really hard time overlooking the amway/mary kay-like cultness of amsoil. I'm sure it's probably decent oil, but ugh.

engine oil - 12 quarts of CI-4+ oil if you can find it (Valvoline premium blue classic, amsoil HD/marine oil, etc) 15w-40 for 0F+ temps, 5w-40 synthetic for -20F and warmer
trans - ~16 quarts of ATF+4 for a rebuild, 4 quarts for a drain and fill.
transfer case - 2 quarts of ATF+4
rear diff - 4. 2-4. 5 quarts of GL5 75w-90 synthetic
front diff - about 2-2. 4 quarts of GL5 75w-90 synthetic

ATF+4 fluids are made from a group III base stock, and it's good stuff. I couldn't justify spending 2-3x the price for Amsoil fluids. I got my last trans fill of Mopar ATF+4 for just over $3. 50/qt (employee pricing on bulk oil). It cost me about $64 for fluid when I rebuilt my trans, versus the $200 for Amsoil from that link.

I read what you're sayin but I would not have a clue about mary kay. Are you an expert on that? :)

You may not like the way Amsoil markets their products, but they do have very good products, and what other oil Company can you buy lubricants from direct?

Speaking of good products, take a look at this informational video on their ATF
AMSOIL Information Series Videos

Buying direct from the manufacturer usually means the products are considerably cheaper than the competition - no middle-man markup.

However, when you have a pyramid to support, I guess that doesn't hold true?

15w-40 Mobil 1 5-gallon bucket from NAPA = $72
15w-40 Amsoil 2. 5-gallon bucket = $87

I'm not suggesting that the Mobil 1 is comparable, but it's good enough for 99% of the trucks on the road and if you figure 300k miles before overhaul, 10k OCIs, that's 30 oil changes with an oil-alone savings of about $1800.

All your capacites are in the owners manual. My Dodge: Dodge Owners Service Manuals - Dodge Cars, Trucks, Minivans, SUVs, Wagons, Hatchbacks

There is no Pyramid to support if you order direct from the Amsoil website. If you get the preferred membership you save a good amount as that is the same price a dealer pays. I have been fortunate the past five years. I have a couple of friends that are dealers and I always get my Amsoil at preferred/dealer pricing + tax and no shipping fees because there is a distribution center close to me. Any oil will most likely get you 300,000 miles easily. That can't be denied. In my 04 I go 1yr/25,000 miles on my oil changes. I want the best oil for that schedule. I use Amsoil.

The prices you just quoted for Mobil1 are for the Delvac Dino oil
The price you posted for the Amsoil 15w40 is retail. I get it for $68. It is also good down to -40°F. So no need to change to a 5w because it gets colder out.

I will agree with you on the ATF. There is nothing wrong with ATF+4. I run the Napa brand since it is rebottled Valvoline.

Ok, my mistake on the Mobil. I'm not a big Mobil fan and I'm not up on their products.

Valvoline Premium Blue synthetic retails for $29/gal, but obviously you can get it cheaper if we're going to compare wholesale prices.
