Competition Pull Sept 24 Michigan City, MS

Gene, What time will the gates be open Saturday morning? What is entry fee into event and hook fee? Or if we are there early enough Friday night, can we drop our trailers there?

Jeremy

Hook fee, DHRA Member: $30

Hook fee, NON-DHRA member: $55

That gets the driver and one crew member in to both days, to the entire show.

DHRA Membership,$85

Special Events weekend pass, non puller, $26.

The gates should be open by 8:30 am Saturday, check the time zone.

I'm not sure if anyone will be around after say 4-5:00 a clock Friday, but yes, you could if there is.

When are you leaving Gene? You'll be driving right by my place. I'll let you load my truck on there too and I'll meet you out there later.

re.

Anyone have the full results yet?I heard Gene took 2nd in the finals,Kent took 3rd in the mod class, and Supersonic had motor problems, thats all I know so far.

Gene was in 2nd, The truck that won first was a grey or silver regular cab 3500 with the stack exiting out of the hood. The mod trucks were unbelievable to the crowd and they were turning loose with the Springfield Stomp in appreciation on more than one pull although I would like to see them all running equal tires. The Big Boys Toys truck that won kind of had an unfair advantage. Some guy named Lance from Ohio even took 2nd in the burnout competition with a wildly painted Cummins. Tomac pulled down 3rd with his new turbo and injecters in the duramax. The rest of the duramax entrants didn't do so hot. Only one ford powered truck was in attendance and he couldn't shake the sled on Saturday. The rest of the Ford trucks including C. Maclfresh (sp) were running Cummins power. There was one Ford in the Mod class running a Cummins that had a massive headgasket blowout. Sounded horrible.

Quick dump, then I will post the press release when we get it done, hopefully before lunch today.
