Marco,
What happens if the numbers sent down to the VP44 start getting out of range? More spacifically, over range? This question applies to boxes like the VA, EZ or "puck" and what they do to fueling. Edge claims there's no more power to be had with Can-bus boxes than what the EZ is getting.
Why do fueling boxes create more power than Can-bus boxes if the restriction isn't in the VP44 cpu?
Can you explain why we've seen the following results on countless dyno runs? Comparing the ETH to the ETC with a 5 speed - both have waste gates blocked off. When we add an EZ and PE to an ETC it has the same or more power than an ETH with EZ and DD3 injectors. If we add those same injectors to the ETC, it makes much more power than the ETH does, even with a larger turbo added to the ETH. If we add the larger turbo to the ETC it has more power than any ETH has ever seen without pump mods, even with propane. If we add a fueling box to the ETH with larger injectors the power increases aren't there at all. Many ETC owners have reported 100 hp gains to thier trucks with the addition of a fueling box no matter which injectors are installed. DD says the differences are in the VP44 mechanicals. What is your answer?
I ask these questions because many ETH owners, after paying extra for the "more powerful" engine, are fustrated with their BOMBing results when compared to the "less powerful" ETC.
