Now I am Pi$$ED!
My Puck had been setting the infamous P1693 trouble code and Check Engine Light since day one. I loved the power it gave me, so I ignored it. After a while I got tired of the occational check engine light so I contacted Diablosport and asked them about it. They compared serial numbers and discovered that my puck was programed for an ETC engine not an ETH. I sent my puck back to Diablosport to have it reprogramed free of charge.
Thinking that I may get 5 to 10 more ponies out of my truck I could not wait to get it back.
I got it back yesterday... ... THEY FREAKIN NEUTERED MY PUCK... THIS THING HAS NO BALLS AT ALL AFTER THEY REPROGRAMED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Before I could hit 35 psi (38 on the dyno) and turbo spool up was immediate, I had a really fat torque curve between 1600 to 2400 rpm where my truck flat flew. now I can only hit 32 psi and this is after 2400 rpm! Low end responce sucks, and my turbo spools up like a stock truck with 275's. I used to be able to put out a considerable ammount of smoke with the turbo down... . now there is not even a puff.
The tires will not break loose on wet pavement in 4th gear anymore.
I sent Johan@diablosport an e-mail about this... ... . this better get fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
