I primed the lift pump right in front of the "mechanic" one time and heard the OFV squeak confirming fuel to injection pump. He got 2 more mechanics to come out and push my truck into the bay... while he was walking away he said "well first I need to see if the pumps getting fuel".And, if the “tech” tried to prime the truck, and not get fuel at the injector pump, he never would, if the solenoid was closed.

Ok. That ones a freebie. If it happens again, you’ll have to look closer.
I just contacted FCA and sent them that pdf bulletin. They will investigate and get back in touch. FINGERS ARE CROSSED
I sent them a lengthy email on it with the bulletin attached. You need to make them aware of the VIN engine code and the differences.
I've spoken with 4 people at the dealership and 2 from FCA. Nobody has an answer and there is silence when I tell them that bulletin of instructions shows a 24V and I have a 12V so how does this work on my truck?? Nor can they explain why my VIN comes up for the conversion. They are FIRM as much as I am that they've done no wrong but can't even explain why they did a diagnosis (told them check the relay or fuse), came back and said you need the in tank conversion. This is NOT over.....Maybe we’ll all do a call campaign to the dealership, telling them the deal. They’d have to hear me at the least, I have ASE paper. The only down side is I didn’t see your truck in person.
Facts are facts. That fuel system does not call for that pump modification. That’s the bottom line.
I certainly am. I know all about taking notes, pictures, dates, etc as I do contracting work. Learned all about that years ago. I'm getting shuffled in the corporate 3 ring circus so you bet I am.I certainly hope you are documenting ALL of this... Including the phone call times and dialog.
The transaction is already in dispute with my card company. Now I play the waiting game..Should have been my first question.....
How did you pay for this? I like to use my Amex green card. They’ll fight like a bear for you in the case of a bad charge.
