Hi all,
I recently had a load of manure delivered to my property. Because of the slope of the entry into my pasture the driver had to angle into the entry and in doing so, dropped two of his drive axles into the ditch and was stuck. He was getting ready to call a tow truck, when I told him that I was sure I could pull him out.
Not only did I have to pull him up the slope and out of the ditch, but also thru
20 yard of turkey compost that he had dropped from the belly dump.
I started out in 2wd, but got some tire spin, so I dropped it into 4wd low just to make sure that I had plenty of traction and good torque multiplication, I was surprised at how easily I was able to pull him out.
Smarty was set to 3, I expected to see more black smoke, would have been more dramatic, I will put my foot on the brake next time and see if I can get a bigger smoke cloud.
I had my son take a few pictures and I thought I would share them.
