Not to be the one seperated from the pack, but it isn't going to get better. I already do what I can and get 19-22mpg. It usually all comes down to supply and demand. BUT, we have the largest supply we have had in 15 years. Oil prices are going up because people are buying it as a commodity. That alone will continue to drive up the price. Buying less won't help, the supplies are there. If your truck is paid for, it is still cheaper than a different gas truck. If you are in the market for a new truck..... big diesels might not be the ticket anymore. As for OPEC, they decided not to change the amount of crude they pump, because supplys are high enough. If you really want to get mad, look at China or India. Their growth is sucking up much more fuel, they don't have to meet nearly so strict enviromental standards, and to be honest, they don't care. The only reason fuel prices are bothering me at all is my daily driver Jeep has a blown head gasket. Gotta love those 4. 0 motors! Good luck, but asking the government isn't the best..... 'I'm from the government, I'm here to help' don't believe the hype.
