Palmdale, CA event for October 26th still on???

Bananna Fruit Goodrich

'Nuff said!

BF Goodrich = no traction.

Time for slicks.

They actually have a grease zerk on the sidewall!

These tires are great if your worried about breaking parts:)

Don't spare the details

Well you can atleast tell us what you ran and how the Twins held up and performed. You didn't mention what tires you had earlier, I could have told you the BFGs were kinda shady, some sets good some sets bad. I have some Firestone SS20s on my car now and they seem to be good, haven't taken them to the track yet. The BFG drag radial is a good tire also, its no slick but its better than a radial. I hate changing tires at the track so I have been through alot of street legal tires. They all suck compared to slicks.

Traction???

I gotta have some slicks!!!

My poor driving skills are second only to my ability to give birth : D

I was leaving very late and not going to full throttle for seemingly an eternity.

I only did three runs, first time I forgot to click the fuel box on. Second time I didn't have any overdrive. Third time I had everything

working and did manage a good mile an hour at around 105 without propane. I still need to figure out my air cleaner config and then

add the propane.

I was down about one hundred horsepower without the LPG. I'll tell you one thing, thank heavens for horsepower! I was leaving on

the green and tip toeing off the line (trying not to spin the tires), so I had to drive around the dodge and the chevy I raced. The funny car

got me I have to confess : )

Just the day prior to the race I was busy reconfiguring one of the cold air pipes and trying to fix my clamps and hoses to keep them from

spitting off when I hammer the throttle. Well I'm happy to report that when I left the welding shop headed for Palmdale I stabbed the

throttle and saw 53 psi! No blown hoses either!!! At the track Saturday I was further pleased with the turbo performance. I hit 60 psi

on the last run! That was the only good run I had btw. I expect I'll be at 65 psi with the propane operable and that covers my best

scenario goal as far as peak boost goes. There isn't a (single) turbo out there that can run those numbers and last. With these twins I

am getting cooler air while only driving the turbos at a moderate pace and maintaining wonderful drivability to boot.

Time to address the suspension! : )

Heck nowel, why not go for broke and try a third turbo??:D maybe you could hit 80 lbs,and 800 hp:D that would be fun!! o yea forgot about traction:mad: maybe a 4 link with coil overs and a big wing;) enough fun for now keep up the good work!!

later Mike

Nowel, with that set up you would need a bigger compressor:rolleyes: bet that thing rides good!all you would need next is bags for the front and down in the weeds!!:D

Four Link

That setup would normally require an onboard compressor. Not for me thought. I might consider a set of coil over shocks instead.

whats the dates this year????
