I believe I will call my stock broker Monday, I have a feeling petroleum jelly (vasoline) is getting ready to sky rocket in price. Maybe that extra income would offset the price on diesel fuel I'm paying for now.

(We are pumping around 9. 5 million bpd now, and if our customers want more crude it's available," Naimi said. "There is no shortage of oil, and there will be no shortage of oil, and we are willing to meet demand as it rises. " ) THIS IS FROM REUTERS NEWS THAT I COPIED AND PASTED TO PUT HERE... So now who wants to argue with me that were not getting it put to us like there isn't no tomorrow. This Naimi is the Saudi oil minister.

So these 10 members of OPEC that they also refer to as a Cartel(sounds like drug cartel to me) can basically either flood the market or they can starve the market anytime they want.

the more i read

:--) does this make anyone else ****** after reading this i hope it does because im about to combust from reading this stuff... . and this is another quote from rueters news... .

SAUDI TO GUARANTEE SUPPLIES

Naimi said record high oil prices were not justified and could drop after the U. S. November presidential polls.

"This is a political year and this may have some influence," he added

Makes me wonder now if were getting the old vaseline job over there or is it after the crude makes it to the refineries here

fuel price

Went into San Felipe today, filled the truck with 61. 89 liters = 16. 33 gallons, gave the attendant 300 pesos (11. 2 exchange rate) =$26. 78 DIESEL in Baja Mexico (San Felipe) is $1. 639 per gallon :p Also purchased 11. 58 gallons of regular unleaded for the baja bug, $23. 21 :{

We try to drive the bug (save wear and tear on the RAM) but darn at $2 a gallon it's cheaper to drive the TRUCK.

If Kerry gets elected and DIESEL goes to $5 a gallon, We'll just have to stay in Mexico :-laf

Retired and loving it. :D

Want some reality therapy? Read the "Pump Dreams" article in the Oct 11, 2004 New Yorker. Start investing in some bio-diesel equipment.

Went to visit an account in Kent, WA on Friday, and saw $2. 39 a gallon. Glad I didn't need to fill up. I've been seeing $2. 28-$2. 36 on a regular basis for the past two weeks in the greater Seattle area.

Ps... bajabill, be glad your in Mexico and not home in Puyallup! Fall has come early and the weather has been cool and wet. You're not missing anything! I'm sure it's sunny and warm where you're at!

Hmm and to produce diesel it takes only 1/4 the refining process of regular gasoline. Does this make sense? Look at the quarterly profits for the gas companies.

filled up this morning at $2. 269, I then drove on down to my new property where we want to build a house and then have me commute 70-75 miles one way. Saw diesel along the way up to $2. 599.

I might be buying another diesel but this time it will be so my Cummins can sit and I can drive a Diesel Jetta.

Let's all just be greatful our trucks don't run on spring water, I mean I just looked at some tonight and generic grocery store brand was $2. 39 / gallon.

How can this price be justified?? Compare that to what it takes to make a gallon of diesel and decide which is more ridiculous.

On a somwhat related note, someone explain to me how "spring" water costs 3 TIMES what distilled water does???? Doesn't distilled water have to undergo distillation which is a lot more than simple "spring" water??

They just get it out of the tap like everyone else. Ft. Lauderdale News did a chemical analysis and a blindfolded taste test a couple of years back. City water won over all the bottled waters!

Diesel hit 2. 14 here in Denver. This is outta control. Last night I got rid of the truck :{ and bought a Z71 Tahoe and it came with the E85 (85% ETHENOL) alternate fuel. There is a gas station down the street from where I work that sells the E85 fuel for 1. 59 a gallon. So I am back down to a more reasonable price on fuel.

Marketing. Some one came up with the bright idea of saying bottled water is better for you than what comes out of the faucet in the kitchen. Tastes better, has non of the bad stuff - chlorine, flouride, and what ever else a water dept. might add to make the water drinkable. After stressing the point that "their" water is cleaner and better for you, they end up selling you the same water in a fancy bottle that comes out of your faucet. If they do not have a source of clean untreated water, they just filter it to remove any smell's or tastes. One of the water bottling companies here gets their water above the point chemicals might be added from one of the water suppliers. The other bottling company just filters the chlorine out that we add. Both water supplies are spring fed, so they are able to tell the truth. Neat, Huh?

Diesel at home in Jupiter Florida $2. 50

Diesel at home in Atlanta Georgia $1. 80

Cost of driving my Dodge between the two for the last 7 months... . Priceless!

$2. 21 Here in Salt Lake City Utah. OUCH!!! And to think that I used to complain about $1. 55. I'm done giving my 2 cents... I need that 2 cents to help fill up my truck ;)
