has anyone tried the diesel secret method for using used veg oil for fuel?

You may want to experiment with an old Mercedes (not mine!), but if you try it with your Ram, it will "secretly" drain your bank account when you have to repair all the damage. If you want to use grease, learn to use it to make biodiesel.

The high rail pressures will plasticize the oil and clog up the "werks"
I have an old 1977 240D Mercedes and I have dumped 6qts of auto trans oil in the fuel tank with only a quarter tank of fuel. Ran good. The big difference between the both engines is the Mercedes runs about 1700psi injector pressures and the common rail Cummins runs up to 23,000psi rail pressures.
