Diesel weekend 9/28/29

There IS a hooters in Warwick RI. You take the exit for TF Green airport and go past the airport. The first set of lights past the airport take a right and there is and are Hooters a little ways up on the left. There is ample parking on the West and East side of the building. I recommend seating in the right side of the establishment as you can watch the wait staff go in and out of the kitchen. ie. you get to look at all the lovelies instead of the token butch waitress you get stuck with.

Anybody know if StraigtsixJeff is going? I want to get a look at the onboard air system he put together.

Not sure if I can make it myself, if my transmission is upgraded by then I will definatly be there. Haven't done enough upgrading to justify another run yet though.

Oasis3 has quite a drive to be here, haven't heard from him either way. It would be great to see him.

Last minute rearrangement of the weekend plans means I can't dyno:{ :{ :{ But I will be taking it there some time this fall with a couple of other friends and thier vehicles.

Can someone post details for sunday? Directions etc... any one meeting to go up as a group?

i'm about 80% sure that i will be going to the dyno as of right now.



my grinder accidentally fell on my plate and made it nice and flat. even at 65 the lock up clutch wont hold (tc unlock switch in my truck). how am i gonna dyno now? push the plate back for less power/smoke? :{ gotta really talk to scott now..... maybe we can get some more money out of whatever college loan we get... so then i can be dead, dead broke.



Directions: just get up to 95 north, and then take rt. 101 North in NH. it's exit 7A (i think-newer exit). it'll say it as the exit dumps right in front of the track.

Be patient, and just don't beat on the stocker transmission too bad... . they'll last if you drive 'em somewhat reasonably... .

i do drive rather reasonably... i do baby this trans, but i do need those WOT-out-of-the-light type deals. i was dead even with my brest friend's '93 454 two days ago before i ran without the plate for a day. he's gonna come down and so will my dad to race on sunday.



credit card? not old enough yet... plus the truck payments are high enough as it is hmm, maybe... just maybe.



alright, i *will* be down on saturday. what time is everyone gonna be there? back to work...

Directions Correction (see page before):



stupid me, wrong road. 101north, just take exit 7, turn right and travel 1 mile. then take a right at the texaco station (diesel fuel there) and go about 3 miles down the road. NED will be on your left. i got mixed up on that exit somehow.

yup i guess i'l be there hopefully sporting a full 5" exhaust and a stack too . . ha i've been messing with my pump know that i know what im doing with it from the vws hahaha. . anyhow next on the list is a bad ass 727tranny rebuild... at home off course ! . . i need some help finding the best / tightest 727 lowest stall torque convertor... any ideas... later
