New member first diesel

scared of buying a cummins...i know i know.

I have always been a long-time Dodge/Ram owner (since 81') and my first diesel was a 2003 5.9 CTD 3500 SRW. I passed this rig down to my son as a H.S graduation present last year and purchased a 2012 Laramie Longhorn 1500. Although great, I soon found myself having symptoms of diesel withdraws. So, to cure said condition, I bought a 2014 CTD 2500 MegaCab this last weekend. After putting 200 miles on her so far...symptoms are no longer present and I am declaring myself cured.

All I can say is....AWESOME! The ride is better than I thought and the 7" cluster display is not only useful, but by far more advanced than what anybody else is putting out today. It is good to be back to the CTD and looking forward to racking some miles up on the new 6.7!

Congratulations on your decision to return. To bad these new trucks are so kleen burning, you could also have your diesel smoke fix daily. Ya, Diesel smoke is the NEW FIX--or old depending.

Had the same experiance after trading in my 2004 Dodge CTD for my 2014 Ram CTD 2500 Lone Star edition.

They've changed so much since my 1st truck.

My 2014 makes my 2004 seem like, well; and old truck.

They are just great.
