Good work, Eric! So the new Primedia magazine (Diesel Power) and your sponsor sure sound similar... Should be a good combination.

Congratulations Eric, glad to see things seem to be shaping up well for the DHRA this year.

So is M&H no longer a sponsor, or just no longer a major sponsor?

Any sneek peak at what the new DHRA stickers might look like this year with the new sponsor? I hope they look better than last years DHRA / M&H sticker, it was awful.

Thanks,

Ted

Geez, Ted. I'm crushed. I worked *so* hard on that decal. :) The new decals will look like the DP! logos on the DP! drag racing and sled pulling pages on the DHRA web site: die-cut ovals.

M&H is looking to back down to an advertiser. Their sponsorship last year more than paid for itself because of the tire sales they received. I hope they stay on board, although we haven't heard from them. Ugly decals, not that's funny!

The decals independently looked great, but when you put them together as one larger sticker, with that white background... ... . I don't think I ever saw anybody put one on there truck after the new one came out. I didn't mean to knock the stickers independenantly, or the work Neal put into making them. I know that stuff is not easy, just trying to give some feedback in case a new one is in the works. I do appreciate all the work you and the whole DHRA staff has put into this so far. If M&H backs down, any chance one of the other tire companies might step up? Especially if we can use the M&H sales as justification for them tooling up to make the odd sizes that we use. Just curious is all, and if this shouldn't be discussed here I completely understand.

I think you will always be able to get the odd ball sizes from M&H. I think they are having to really concentrate their money on the bigger market. I hope some tire companies get interested, none have knocked our doors down yet!

Did you guys nail down anyone to make T-shirts yet? I'm still waiting... ... ... . 11 months later! :{

Braden,

Let me see. ... Searching member database ... online shop ... old database ... PayPal logs ...

Oh, no! I found your order; it's one of the 'lost' PayPal orders. I thought I had thoroughly audited the PayPal records and emailed everyone whose order's were 'lost', requesting they re-enter the order. Apparently I missed your order.

I will send you a refund this week and make sure your t-shirts are sent when I have a new batch made.

The 'lost' orders were a problem with the online shop software, which required the purchaser to click the 'return' button to complete the order. I changed that software back in June or so to a more robust version; no orders have been 'lost' since. PayPal did properly record the transactions, and I was able to reconstruct those orders to some degree - completely in Braden's case.

Yes, I did find a supplier and triple-checked the lists, and I *thought* I had filled all the orders.

My humblest apologies!

Neal
