The Optix Series also provides an optional wiring harness that has a single turn potentiometer built in for the ultimate in dimmer control, and to match your interior exactly as you want, not too bright nor too dim.

If you are like me, I find one spot I like and keep it there on the dash lights so having a separate knob for the added gauges would be no big deal.
Theses look great however I have ISSPRO,s already waiting install but its always fun to look at new stuff.
I was wondering how the light will look. I haven't wired one up yet but plan to do that and take a look at night before mounting. I may add the optional bulb covers to tone down the light. Are you running the gauge as it comes or use the green bulb covers?JCleary said:My Isspros are nice, but the lighting leaves something to be desired. The light from the needle spills out on the face of the gauge at night.

The new DiPricol Optix are a full 100% LED lighted gauge, the night time appearance is perfect, they do have in the planning an optional dimmer circuit so it can be adjusted to match the stock dash levels, or you can get the dimmer circuit we sell with the Auto Meter LED gauges now. The pyro is also a Stepper motor pyro like the Auto Meter Nexus, C2 and Cobalts, fast reaction and excellent accuracy. They can be used with the older style DiPricol's but the lighting and appearance will be different. We have night and day pics on our site if you want to see them in action.
