Is this a mexican built/St. Louis built issue?

I wonder, are the folks having A/C problems driving Mexican assembled Rams, or St. Louis built rams? I wonder if there is any commonality here... ?

I have a 2001. 5 Ram 2500 ETC, with a A/C leak. I have acutally seen some sort of fog/vapor coming through the dash vents with the A/C on. Strangely, it doesn't do it in the Max A/C position, only the normal A/C position.

Most AC leaks seem to be from compressor seal, don't think that assembly point of truck has anything to do with that.
The "fog" you see is the cold air for the A/C mixing with the humid air in your truck, dropping the temperature of the air localy to below the dewpoint, hence you see fog. You don't see it on MAX ac because in this mode it is recirculating the air in the cab, it has already removed lots of the moisure in the cab, so a much higher dewpoint, so no fog
