So,

Here it is.

:mad:I get the DiabloSport Power puck after the guy on the phone talks me out of the Quadzilla mileage one when I say primarily want mileage.

I get the power puck, put it in. Truck runs great, no codes. Pyro seems to run lower around town BUT low and behold I fill it up with only around town and My mileage is actually down 1 mpg to 1. 5 mpg and I did NOT have my foot in it at all. Boy am I disappointed.

I don't know if it could be a sampling error but I only have a month to return it and I don't really want to just run around wasting fuel.

My truck runs great and you can easily feel the 50 extra horses.

Anybody with experience with this thing.

I am thinking of sending it back and trying another one.

thanks,

MBR

MR, I agree w JC but around the town is not the best assesment of the ability of the fueling devise. Your adding fuel but not putting your foot in it so not building much boost "inefficent". Get out on the expressway and try 65mph for 1 hr w the puck and 65 for 1 hr w out the puck and see what you got. I would guess that you might see an improvement w you foot out of it... .

Send it back & get a XZT+. It has 3 levels, stock, max mileage, 70hp with fuel/timing. It is the smoothest box I've ever run.

No it doesn't. Plugs in just like a Edge EZ or I imagine like your power puck would. I also second Cummins724's recommendation. Or you can always get Quad's Mileage Max like you wanted too and then pay to upgrade it to a xzt+ later on down the road.
