RonA said:Sounds like you are on the right track now. You are supposed to start with a 62. Upgrade to a 64. Then go to a 66. Then a silver bullet. Then go to twins so you can tow and daily drive. Turbo shops have to be able to pay bills and buy groceries just like we do. :-laf

This is an off topic question: How do you pronounce your last name? My thinking is "Chairack"
When I put the regulated air into the afc I could see that with the AFC and plate full forward, the afc arm would hold the lever 3/16" away from the plate. I modified the afc so that the arm would clear the plate and it was a whole 'nother ball game.

I gained around 125 degrees dropping back to a single, and stopped working on the the turbo setup..... stays tight, doesn't leak, fits all the time and doesn't break.

Thanks and all the best to you in the new year.
Jim,
You can't be talking apples to apples on fuel only. You must be talking about running Nos for those figures. What is your egt's at 600hp on #2 fuel only foot to the floor in OD for say, 10 sec's?
If twins are built right, you will see a 350deg drop in egt's over the single on #2 fuel only with nothing else changed. Unless you run such a big single ( again #2 only) and then you might as well have a boat anchore out the back.
