Somehow, some way, my clutch fan has started working like my other RAMS...I took it to Bill Luke some time ago after 4th of July trip and told them of the "over heating problem"...(the previous owner had the same problem at 20K on the clock)

They declared, after driving it unloaded for 45 minutes, all was well.It was "in specs" and maybe RAM changed the aggressive clutch fan settings because people were complaining about the clutch fan noise.......The problem was not "unloaded", but under a full load..I thought, what kind of poo poo is that....The clutch fan is TOO loud? get back in your PRIUS and go away.....

Well, I have to be honest, I checked the weight AFTER all fuel,Full tank, +30 gallons in aux tank, full main tank, 45 gallons of gas in RV tanks, and 70 gallons of water in 100 gallon water tank, + maybe 10 gallons of fluids in 3 holding tanks from flushing system out., DEF etc was loaded, and she was HEAVY. Not to mention a 1100lb SxS in the garage too!.I am dry camping this particular weekend,.....

Cummins 12V98 weight was where It was at....with his 2011..;)

I thought for SURE, she would be OVERHEATING etc(IMHO) compared to my 2012 max tow and 2013 2500 RAM...transmission above 210, engine above 225+ pulling the 6% grades etc...

Even though the ambient temp was lower then usual, The transmission never get above 190. Previous , was 200+t-210+e normal.

This time, once the motor got to 215, the clutch fan kicked in pulling the motor back to 190-195 in 30 seconds,,.. transmission never got a chance to get close to 200.5

I'm knocking on wood that "whatever" has happened keeps going on.

Hey, don't be too quick to discount divine intervention....

Years (decades) ago, I had a Dodge Omni 024 that developed what I figured was a bad front wheel bearing (growling noise on left turns). Those bearings were pressed in (and I didn't have a press), so I wanted to get a second opinion before going through the pain of trying to tear it apart. I got in touch with the wheel bearing engineer at work, who said he would go for a drive with me at lunch the next day, and confirm whether he thought it was indeed a bad wheel bearing.

On the drive into work the next day, I prayed about it. I told God I really didn't want to have to mess with replacing the wheel bearing (or waste His money doing so). At lunchtime, we went for our drive, and the bearing guy said, "I don't hear any noise." I didn't hear any noise, either! In fact, I drove that car another 100,000 miles and it never made any more wheel bearing noises at all. Drove it 120K miles altogether, and the ONLY repair I ever had to make (besides oil changes) was to replace a broken clutch cable.

God has been my "heavenly mechanic" ever since, and has kept every single vehicle I have owned running smoothly, with no major repairs (and very few minor ones). So thank God for your "healed" fan clutch! I'll pray that He'll start fixing other things for you, too!
