I am curious if Dodge will up the GVW's for 2006. Just for kicks I recently looked at a 2005 Ford F-350srw crew cab 4X4 with the 6. 0 and it had a GVW of 11,400 pounds. Like I said, this was a single rear wheel truck. Hopefully, Dodge will step up and do something for '06 because it seems they're losing payload capacity for every new generation of truck released.
According to the press release for the MegaCab, a 4X4 3500srw with the Cummins will have a payload of less than 2,200 pounds. This really doesn't cut it for us fifth wheel pullers.
I know the 6. 0 is a lousy engine but Ford is really stepping up to the plate when you figure in the Towcommand controller, payload capacity, upfitter switches, and so on.
