How much do you spend on Christmas Gifts?

My neighboor is a retired school maintence man and he gets up at 5:00 am so I don't bother him much. Now at my girlfriends place its a different matter. The other day I saw a guy with a nice CTD sitting across the street so I go out to chat and his girlfriend comes out and says "hey you must be the guy with the loud truck like this one", then her mother comes out and says somting like "oh your the guy with that noisy truck". Whats funny is they got in the CDT to leave and the guy floored it and its just as loud as mine...

I have a buddy that has an old 6. 2 gm that has headders... . his truck is loud, but his next door neighboor has a ford and wakes him up every am..... he loves it, calls it is diesel alarm clock

My neighbor across the street has a Ford and insists on warming it up for half an hour or so. I start and leave in under a minute. I've never heard anything more than neighbors asking me why he has to warm his up so long.

ESPAR has the answer.

Joe... where is Knights Landing [by Woodland ?]... In my head just can't place it

I do the snow plowing on our private road 1. 25 miles long [with my FJ40] . . so no one gives me any grief about noise... . truth is there are only 7 homes and only 4 lived in year around and none very close to the road. ;) I'm lucky to be in this environment but can't wait to move to I DE HO next year

all my neighbors are pretty close, I'm in a housing development where most of the lots are roughly 1/4 acre or so... so there's plenty of people within earshot. Haven't had any complaints on the truck, just some kids lining up or dogs running to the fence cuz they think they hear the school bus :-laf ... things might change when I get my straight pipe for christmas :)

my Trans Am however... t'is a '94, no muffler, gutted cat... it's obnoxiously loud :D... noone's really complained about the noise disturbing them or anything, but I've had a few people yell at me to slow down when I was doing 15ish... I guess it sounds like I'm goin faster... and a couple weeks ago I drove past some 8 year old kid, wasn't really getting on it at all, and he dropped his ball and covered his ears :D

Gary,

Knights Landing is eight miles north of Woodland on the Sacramento River. The road goes to Yuba City from there. Not much of a town. It's the kind of little place I like.

My only neighbor is 92 and has some hearing loss. He doesn't complain about much of anything. The other end of the street is a cemetary, and no one there says a word! When I was a service manager at a large electronics repair shop, I had a blind woman call up and ask us to adjust the color on her new television. Beat that!

My neibors say it's too loud:{ besides the fact that my STACKS point directly at their front room window I just don't understand:confused: :D

Tony

U ready to give me my stacks back yet?... . LOL:D

I have 3 other CTD's surrounding my house. If I could just get everyone to fire them up at the same time... ...

P. S. Did you get pics yet?

I got the cap on gonna shoot pics tomorrow if the weather is good.

Chris

Hummin,

No, I don't want to give you the stacks back yet. Their is still smoke left in them I have to get out. When it is all out I'll give them back. :D I'll steal the digital camara from work and shoot a couple shots tonight (as long as I can get the camera).

This weekend I am going to try and pull the wireing harness out for you. I'll pm you when I get it out to let you know to expect it.

Tony

P. S. Hope you like the cap as much as I like the stacks!Oo.

my neighbors don't complain,, I think the stacks help get the sound in the air, instead of in the windows.

We have two Diesels in our driveway, and our neighbor on one side has a '97 CTD. The other neighbor has about a '57 BelAir that is GlassPacked with 2" Pipe.

Now,, The sound system,, that's a different story. :D

Hell, I wish it DID bother them! Then it might mean they could hear their barking dogs. I don't understand how some people can let dogs bark all the time and not try to keep them quiet:mad:
