Competition Look what I found....

Competition Building a Pulling Truck....What mods ?

Pretty cruel to let that GM tow him for a bit to get his hopes up - and then yank him backwards like that with all his tires smoking... :D :D

Note to self... When I see a black Dodge or black Chevy on ebay in a couple years, do not buy! That's gotta be tough on everything not to mention the 1,000 degree EGT(probably) engine kill the Cummins did! Anyway, it looked cool... for somebody else to do with their pickup!

That is not a Hemi ... it was part of the event Superchips had this weekend for Hemi Days..... That is a 05 Cummins vs 05 Duramax... ... ... ...

yes they got a little hot ... ... it was fun to watch... ...

Maybe I didnt hear right but to me it sounded like the guy driving the dodge had stalled it because I thought I could hear him cranking it over and it firing up again.

Yea I dont know what that was about but he did resart it after the D-max pulled him back to center ..... they were both autos so dont know for sure... . The Cummins had gauges and she was really hot ... took 10 min to cool

It was like the guy in the Chevy, would still have it floored after the Cummins driver let off, then he'd be able to start pulling the Dodge.

Yeah, I'd say neither of them won. Whoever gets their tires smoking first is going to lose. Once traction is broken the other truck can have his way with you. The trucks were probably somewhat different - i. e. hp, tires, gears, weight, etc.

Have't seen any status lately on your project. Still havin fun??

Its going ... I am having a fuel issue that I think we might have figured out but I wont know for a day or two. I dont have the truck at my place its at a friends place. He has had some family issues come up and I havent been able to work on it for a few days.

Twisted Shifter,

I don't think you were being a butt. I was just under the assumption that both trucks had programmers. If what you say is true, there is NO point to the tug of war IMO. I appreciate the clarification.

yea it was simply a "show" put on for a bunch of Hemi guys at Superchips. Trust me it was fun to watch but no matter what either truck has/had the Dodge would have won thT day because of the crowd.
