This sounds really dumb. So the more you need the Ltd slip to work the less likely it willIt is a torsen style which is a torque multiplying type diff. What ever torque is available on low torque side is multiplied by 2 and available on High torque side. Problem is 2x0 is still zero so they don't work with one wheel off the ground or when 3x torque isn't enough to move the truck. Usually applying a little E-Brake is all that is necessary to give the high side drive necessary to move.
I don’t disagree there. I sure like my MDX and Subaru Too bad we can’t get trucks to work closer to how they doA limited slip is a limited slip. It's the safest option (besides open diff) for driving on snow/ice covered roads and that's probably why Chrysler uses it. Anything more than a limited slip diff on slippery road surfaces gets well..... let's just say the pucker factor can go to 10 real quick if you don't how to drive it.
If I could just get rid of dead pedal I would be happy. I guess I have to violate a warranty and get a smartyI don’t disagree there. I sure like my MDX and Subaru Too bad we can’t get trucks to work closer to how they do
