Does the ECM matter on auto to 5-spd

I have found a P/N 56029103 came out of a 92 D350 with a auto, will this work on my 92 4x4 5-spd?

Should work as I don't think these controllers throw fits without inputs. About the only way is to try it and see.

A guy I work with converted his 92 D350 to a getrag after the auto went south. He said everything works fine... no problems.
