Since it's kind of on this topic, can someone tell me where to 'see' the percent of DPF? Is it in the menu on the dash? Since I'm waiting for an EGR sensor, the tech said my truck won't regenerate and may fill the DPF. I'd like to keep an eye on the amount to know when to stop driving it. Thanks in advance.

You don’t mention what EVIC your truck has, but under the vehicle menu you should have a DPF screen.

What code do you have that indicates you need a EGR sensor?

My main concern in posting was that I had read that the P242F code was permanent, would not allow DPF regeneration, and would ultimately result in limited operation. The next time I started my truck it went back into regeneration, counted down percentage, and then cleared the MIL. I don't want to head out on a road trip only to have the code re-appear and limit operation. Any information would be appreciated..
