Jlehman:
Vaughn MacKenzie is giving you some VERY good advice on
Dr. Performance!! I agree with him 100%!!
Back in 1998-1999 they ran extensive advertising in the
TDR and other publications saying that they could "out pull,
out drag, and out accelerate" any other diesel performance
company/modification with the ad going on to say "and
you can take that to the "Banks!" Like Vaughn said,
"deceptive advertising!" I personally ran against some
of their "Dr. P prepped trucks" at dyno events and drag
races across the country and can tell you that I certainly
was not impressed!!! For a short time, they claimed to
hold the "current world land speed record for a diesel"
@ 148. 536 MPH, that supposedly happening on or about
08/17/99 done at the Bonneville, Utah. We all know that
Banks Engineering has beat that now by a long shot!!
They also claimed a "quarter mile track record" of 12. 59
@ 109. 87 at Woodburn, OR. on or about 08/07/99.
There are MANY TDR members who are WAY BELOW
that and were back then too, so I just never saw the
big "claim- to- fame" of it all!!!

Heck my 2002
Dodge CTD is not far off that 1/4 mile mark!!
Anyway, as the other member said, "run the other way!"
