My truck is in having my AISIN case split and re sealed along with PTO seal.

had them look to see if track bar was worn but they said drag link was bad. They have one for another customer and will be replacing it.

I will have to ask what was worn. I am sure the “JB” welds were fine.

JB might not have had the amperage set correctly when he welded the adjustment nuts. I offered a blue loctite one from my 2015.

OK the issue with the Drag Link is the ball joint I am pointing to was worn out and my track bar was great still. Part number pointing to is for warranty repairs.

Well here is the new and improved beauty!

Mechanic said he took about 1/2 hour to get it centered. He said his helper on the top was not much help. I told him I appreciated his attention to detail as the steering wheel is perfectly centered like before.

So if they have stock on a replacement, they still won't replace them? I told them that in no way were they going to weld mine as they're not a certified welder! Also can you see carrying a receipt in for the labor time in grinding the welds for wheel alignment/steering wheel centering! Sometimes makes you wonder what the engineer was thinking with the design change from norm!
