About a month ago, I destroyed a rear rotor when my caliper hung up. I replaced both rotors, Pads, and put in new slides liberally coated in antisieze. All was well, until a week later my trans blew, and it spend 3 weeks over at goerends.
I got it back and drove to work and I could smell hot and brake dust. The LR was ticking from being hot and cooling down.
I got it home tore it apapart, and cleaned it all up, relubed the slides, and everything seemed fine.
Drove it to work again and I could tell it was hot again, also the RR seemed a little hot also.
I'm wondering what the problem might be. Could the pistons in the calipers not be releasing fully?
