Hello fellows, need some advise. I'm working on a friends 96 quad cab, five speed. When towing if you hit a bump, you get a lot of surging from the drive train and kinda hard to locate the problem. The drive shaft and all u-joints aren't very old, it was all replaced when he had a U. S. Gear transmission installed. It kinda feels like it may have axle wrap, with the axle rotating up and down. I put in a #10 plate, 3K gov. springs and afc spring. All of this has made it more pronounced, I would imagine with the additional power. Its also a 4X4, could it be slack in the transfer case? If you have any ideas, throw them my way, I'm going to look at it tomorrow.
Thanks
