driveline vibration???

If you could look through everything in a straight line, the crosses should be superimposed on oneanother. I have never even looked under a fwd Dodge. Does your truck have a two piece rear shaft or a single. If there are three joints, all three would superimpose if in a straight line. Someone has changed the slip joint position.

is it possible to have our driveshafts put togethor just a few splines off ? or can they only go back togethor in increments of 90 degrees? I seem to remember that they are keyed in some way...

I would check you pinion angle. I had a bad vibration for about two years. I went through everything that you did(drivelines,bent rims,tires). Then I put a skyjacker lift on my truck and the vibration went away. There are shimms that go under your springs that adjust your pinion angle. I personally feel that the rear blocks that our trucks come with are the main cause of the problem. It could also be that our front springs start to sag after time and cause a pinion angle problem with the rear driveline.

Grey Wolf... That is a good website re. drivelines. Looked at my log loader with the 2 piece drive shaft and all yokes are in alignment. Will mark mine and try it in phase and also at 90* to the yokes... Really appreciate all the input ... . Hope this is the fix.....
