Hi guys - When I turn on the headlights first time that day, the drive side never comes on.

I give a very light tap and it comes on and stays on, even if I turn it off for a while.

Next day, same thing. . needs a tap to turn on. (wish the wife was like that :D)

I tried new bulb and jiggled the harness, and that works for a while, but eventually it needs that little rap.

Any ideas?

Tapping equals bad connection you got a broken wire or dirty connection

Are you tapping on the light or the switch?

I have seen a broken filament act the same way. Have you checked to see if the bulb is OK?

edit: went back and re-read that you have changed the blub... so i would agree connection or wire broken but making contact

Mine did that. At first I thought it was a bad ground but ended up being the socket that plugs on the bulb.
